Important News and Updates

Effective for all ABNM Recertification examinations after January 31, 2019, the CME requirements for Recertification by the ABNM will change to a total of 50 CME credits. Furthermore, at least 40 of the 50 required CME credits must be in IONM and from an approved IONM course. At most, 10 of the 50 required CME credits may be obtained from other courses that are not IONM courses per se, but do include some IONM content.
These changes do not apply to the January 2019 ABNM Recertification examination.
Complete details about these updated CME requirements will be published on the ABNM website in February 2019.
